Euro Promec Srl specializes in small- and medium-batch turning operations, thanks to the availability of various CNC lathes capable of machining bar stock or workpieces of various diameters and lengths. All machines are equipped with a Y-axis, motorized drives, a counterspindle, and/or a tailstock.

Depending on the desired surface, turning is divided into:

Flat turning (or facing): flat surfaces perpendicular to the workpiece's axis of rotation
Conical turning: conical surfaces
Cylindrical turning: cylindrical surfaces coaxial with the workpiece's axis of rotation
Helical turning: helical surfaces, e.g., threading on a lathe
Form turning (or profiling): surfaces with complex contours
Depending on the tool position, turning is divided into:

External turning: machining the outside of the workpiece
Internal turning: machining the inside of a hollow workpiece
